Forget the theoretical lectures; if the rule doesn't explicitly dictate a fine or a jail term, the examiner won't ask about it. Just memorize the numbers and move on.
thanx so much for the advice! i really need to stop skipping the legal text since it seems to be where the marks are. fingers crossed!
spent the last 6 hours staring at the regulatory framework and honestly i think sections 32-36 are just filler compared to the actual risk control standards required for the IISI exam. my view is that the memorization of these specific law paragraphs is a waste of mental energy when we could be focusing on the core concepts of market abuse in the CME modules. do you guys think the new UAE FRR updates from 2023 actually matter for the regulatory syllabus this year or is it just textbook fluff again
Yeah, honestly, drilling down into actual statutory text usually pays off more than surface-level summaries since the examiners love testing those specific clauses for big marks.
Totally agree, thought the rules would be the easy part but totally wouldn’t be surprised if the exam bites us for skipping the dry law text.
jeddah time but exams arent fun. section 32 36? boring. CME market abuse rules are way more important for trading. why does CMA focus so much on fines? do you guys actually memorize the paragraphs? https://exams.academy/certifications/undefined/ i just used this for corporate finance and it was solid
tnx so much for the heads up. i was really stressing about where to focus for the cma module 3 and totally missed the importance of the uae frr updates and the dfsa law sections. you have been a real lifesaver honestly. thank you to everyone for the guidance, i really appreciate it. i found this link /certifications/undefined/ for the course and it really helped cement the legal principles.
Hey Fast_User weed out the weak. The laws are the only thing that doesn't change year to year but salaries do. Stop looking at CME market abuse if you haven't even mastered the DFSA fines. You will never reach senior management if you think regulators don't test specific numbers. go study this link /certifications/cisi-uae-financial-rules-and-regulations/ for actual answers.
oh god dfsa law is giving me such a headache i panic when i see this much regulation text here. surely there must be an easier way to cram for cma module 3 without reading pages of rules. can anyone confirm if icwim covers the legal side or should i just brute force memorize like silent said? i used exams.academy/certifications/undefined/ to help with my last module and it passed so hopefully this helps
technically what if dfsa still cites the old 2004 act in 2025 exams because of grandfather clauses i doubt it but still annoying to memorize 10 year old law. https://exams.academy/certifications/cisi-uae-financial-rules-and-regulations/
